The seeding events that took place earlier this year were a success. A nice crop of Burr Oak, Red Oak, Shagbark Hickory, Chestnut and Ohio Buckeye have come to life and are now at home in the soils of Chatham-Kent and beyond. The area high schools have come through again with their eager, hard-charging students and teachers. Close to 2000 trees were hand-planted and now have to a chance to rise up and serve as monuments to all individuals that have a passion for the improvement of our environment.
FORESTS FOR LIFE!
