Three youth from the Children's Respite Home participated in a seeding event March 12th at the Municipal greenhouse. It was an amazing experience to see children show such excitement to get involved and plant seeds for their community. They are looking forward to return to the greenhouse for a tour of the growing seedlings. The group hope to help plant the trees in a nearby location to use as a new picnic area for children to enjoy.
New faces from the Children's Respite Home will be joining me March 19th for another seeding event.

The cold-frame boxes are covered in leaf litter to help insulate the seeds from the cold throughout the winter and mimic a natural environment
