Participants from the Riverview Day Program develop stewardship ethics
8 volunteers from Community Living's Riverview Day Program developed stewardship ethics during the seeding event Monday March 28th which was held at the municipal greenhouse facilities. Steve Parr, a local substitute teacher, also joined the efforts to help fill the greenhouse. Together, they filled 7 trays of native shrub and prairie species including Button Bush, Ninebark, Red Dogwood, and Penstemon digitalis.

The cold-frame boxes are covered in leaf litter to help insulate the seeds from the cold throughout the winter and mimic a natural environment
